Easel
I use the OPEN
BOX M (8x10) Pallet Panel Holder/Oil.
It is a very light-weight easel.
Any kind of travel easel is ok, as long as you can carry it
easily and you have set it up before you get to the workshop.
Avoid the Julian French Easel
on travel trips (too heavy)
Packing your Easel: I carry my easel in a rolling bag that is
also a backpack (Wallmart). I
use a small lightweight tripod from the camera store. Everything I need
including my paints, panels, and panel storage box fit into the one
rolling backpack

dark under brim
Wear neutral or dark colored shirt for painting
Paper towels & Small trash bags
Small brush washer or container to hold mineral spirits
A few
sheets of waxed paper – to put between dryish paintings on the way
home if you're flying.
Or Raymar wet painting storage box.
2 bulldog clips or clothes pins
1 small bungee cord (just in case)
Small sketch book w/ pencil or a sharpie
