We
set our easels up facing each other so that we couldn't see each other's
work and began. See the slide show for a glimpse at
what we accomplished.
It was fun! Having an hour and a half to
work on a small painting in conjunction with another artist....who was
doing the same thing right in front of me. I was very inspired once we
finished and I got to see Tate's painting! Same reference, totally
different views, two very different interpretations!
Some of the crowd suggested that Tate and I must have been
"separated at birth". We all laughed.
What fun! We think we might make it an
annual event. Next year, I get to pick the photos!
