Shrimpers and Old Glory, Original Oil on Canvas 40inches x 30 inches by Karen Hewitt Hagan               back to painting directory

This is the first time that I've photographed a larger painting in progress. I've tried to take the shots when thought something important (to me) had happened like the laying in of a shadow or adding a mass or the lights. At first it's easy to stop and take the photos, then it got harder as I got into the flow of the painting.  I like watching a painting from start to finish - and I hope you'll enjoy seeing this one progress.
